"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would seek refuge from the jinn and the (evil) eye of humans, until Al-Mu'awwidhatain were revealed. So when they were revealed he used them and left other than them." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2058)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٧٨٠٤أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ
