[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was afflicted with a severe fever, so he ordered for a bucket to be hung on a tree, and then he lay down beneath it. It began to drip on his chest, and he said, "The most severely tested among people are the prophets, then those who are most like them, and the ones who are most like them."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٧٤٤٠أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْثَرُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ حُذَيْفَةَ عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ قَالَتْ

أَصَابَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حُمَّى شَدِيدَةٌ فَأَمَرَ بِسِقَاءٍ فَعُلِّقَ بِشَجَرَةٍ ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ تَحْتَهُ فَجَعَلَ يَقْطُرُ عَلَى فُؤَادِهِ قَالَ «إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ بَلَاءً الْأَنْبِيَاءُ ثُمَّ الْأَمْثَلُ فَالْأَمْثَلُ»
