[Machine] A delegation from the tribe of Abdul Qais came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he ordered them to do four things and prohibited them from doing four other things. He prohibited them from drinking in pottery vessels, gourds, water-skins, and muzaffat (a type of container). They asked him, "What should we drink from then?" He replied, "You should drink from leather containers that have been rinsed." Dawud bin Abi Hind disagreed with him.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٨٠٣أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَعِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ وَفْدَ عَبْدِ الْقَيْسِ أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَرْبَعٍ وَنَهَاهُمْ عَنْ أَرْبَعٍ نَهَاهُمْ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي الْحَنْتَمِ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ قَالُوا فَفِيمَ نَشْرَبُ؟ قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِأَسْقِيَةِ الْأُدْمِ وَالَّتِي يُلَاثُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهَا» خَالَفَهُ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ
