[Machine] Umar said, "Indeed, you are eating a foul food from these two plants, onion and garlic. So if you eat them, cook them well."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٦٦٥٠أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ قَالَ

قَالَ عُمَرُ «إِنَّكُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ طَعَامًا خَبِيثًا هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ الْبَصَلَ وَالثُّومَ فَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ آكِلِيهِمَا فَاقْتُلُوهُمَا بِالنُّضْجِ»
