[Machine] I cut the messenger of Allah ﷺ from the rock salt found in Ma'rib, so he cut it for me. It was said, "It is equivalent to drinking water." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No, then." Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Qais related this.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٥٧٣٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ عَتِيقٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَيَّاشٍ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمَأْرَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبْيَضَ بْنِ حَمَّالٍ قَالَ

اسْتَقْطَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَعْدِنَ الْمِلْحِ الَّذِي بِمَأْرِبَ فَأَقْطَعَنِيهِ فَقِيلَ إِنَّهُ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمَاءِ الْعِدِّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَلَا إِذًا» أَسْنَدَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ قَيْسٍ
