[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that a man freed a slave of his from the back end, and then his master became in need. So, he ordered the slave to be sold for eight hundred. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Spend it on your family, for charity is only from surplus wealth. Begin with those whom you are responsible for."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٩٨٦أَخْبَرَنِي هِلَالُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ غُلَامًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ فَاحْتَاجَ مَوْلَاهُ فَأَمَرَ بِبَيْعِهِ فَبَاعَهُ بِثَمَانِمِائَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنْفِقْهَا عَلَى عِيَالِكَ فَإِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَةُ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ»
