[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, "The prayer of the night and the day is two by two." Abu Abdur Rahman said to us, "This is a good chain of narration, but the companions of Ibn Umar differed from Ali Al-Azdi. Saalim, Nafi' and Tawus differed from him."

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيًّا الْأَزْدِيَّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى» قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ جَيِّدٌ وَلَكِنَّ أَصْحَابَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ خَالِفُوا عَلِيًّا الْأَزْدِيَّ خَالَفَهُ سَالِمٌ وَنَافِعٌ وَطَاوُسٌ
