It was narrated from ‘Ali ؓ that The Prophet ﷺ sent his sacrificial animal with him and told him to give its meat, skin and blankets in charity. (Using translation from Aḥmad 894)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٤١٣٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ وابْنِ نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِهَدْيِهِ وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ بِلُحُومِهَا وَجُلُودِهَا وَأَجِلَّتِهَا»
