[Machine] He was with Abdullah when he threw the pebbles at Al-Aqaba, and he hid in the valley and showed it, meaning the Jamara, and threw it with seven pebbles, saying takbeer with each pebble. So I said, "There are people going up the mountain." He said, "By the One besides whom there is no god, I saw the one upon whom Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed throwing."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٠٦٥أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَجَّاجَ هُوَ ابْنُ يُوسُفَ يَقُولُ لَا تَقُولُوا سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ قُولُوا السُّورَةُ الَّتِي تُذْكَرُ فِيهَا الْبَقَرَةُ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللهِ حِينَ رَمَى الْعَقَبَةَ فَاسْتَبْطَنَ الْوَادِيَ وَاسْتَعْرَضَهَا يَعْنِي الْجَمْرَةَ فَرَمَاهَا بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ نَاسًا يَصْعَدُونَ الْجَبَلَ فَقَالَ «هَاهُنَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ رَأَيْتُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ رَمَى»

"I head Al-Hajjaj say: 'Do not say Surat Al-Baqarah, say: 'The Surah in which the cow (Al-Baqarah) is mentioned."' I mentioned that to Ibrahim, and he said: "Abdur-Rahman bi Yazdi told me, that he was with 'Abdullah when he stoned Jamratul 'Aqabah. He went down the middle of the valley, stood opposite it - meaning the Jamrah - and throew seven pebbiles at it, saying the Takbir with each pebble. I said; "Some people climbed the mountain." He said: "Here - by the One beside Whom there is no other God - is the place where the one to whom Surat Al-Baqarah was revelated stoned."  

النسائي:٣٠٧٣أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ

[Machine] "I saw Abdullah performing the stoning ritual in the valley. He placed the pebbles on his right cheek and faced the Kaaba. Then he threw them with seven pebbles, proclaiming ‘Allahu Akbar’ after each throw. Afterwards, he said: ‘This is as it was done by the one upon whom Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed.’"  

أحمد:٤٠٨٩حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ الْمَسْعُودِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي جَامِعُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ اسْتَبْطَنَ الْوَادِيَ فَجَعَلَ الْجَمْرَةَ عَنْ حَاجِبِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْبَيْتَ ثُمَّ رَمَاهَا بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ دُبُرَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

[Machine] Abdullah threw the pebbles of Al-Aqaba from the bottom of the valley with seven stones. With each throw, he exclaimed "Allahu Akbar" (Allah is the greatest). It was said to him that some people were throwing from above the pebbles. He replied, "By the One in whose presence there is no god but Him, this is the place where Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed."  

أحمد:٤٣٥٩حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ

رَمَى عَبْدُ اللهِ جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْوَادِي بِسَبْعِ حَصَيَاتٍ يُكَبِّرُ مَعَ كُلِّ حَصَاةٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ نَاسًا يَرْمُونَهَا مِنْ فَوْقِهَا فَقَالَ هَذَا وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُهُ مَقَامُ الَّذِي أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

[Machine] When Abdullah approached the Jamarat al-`Aqabah, he entered the valley and faced the Kaaba. He placed the pebbles on his right cheek and then threw seven pebbles, saying "From here, by the One besides whom there is none worthy of worship, I throw the one on whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed."
