"We used to leave Jam Al-Muzdalifah for Mina at the end of the night, during the time of the Messenger of Allah." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3036)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٤٠٢٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ شَوَّالٍ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ قَالَتْ

«كُنَّا نُغَلِّسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ إِلَى مِنًى»

We used to set forth from Muzdalifa to Mina, (very early in the dawn) when it was dark. And in the narration of Naqid (the words are):" We set from Muzdalifa in the darkness (of the dawn)."
