[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray eight units of prayer at night, followed by three units of Witr prayer, and then he would pray two units of prayer before the Fajr prayer.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَمَانِي رَكَعَاتٍ وَيُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray eight rak'ahs at night, and then he would perform the witr prayer with three rak'ahs. He would pray two more rak'ahs, so when he said the takbeer, it became nine, six, and three.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَيُوتِرُ بِثَلاثٍ وَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَمَّا كَبِرَ صَارَ إِلَى تِسْعٍ وَسِتٍّ وَثَلاثٍ
