[Machine] The Prophet of Allah, may ﷺ , used to pray four units of prayer before noon when the sun would set.  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٣٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا وَاصِلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ «صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ حِينَ تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ»
