nasai-kubra:2938ʿAbd al-Malik b. Shuʿayb b. al-Layth b. Saʿd from my father from my father > ʿUqayl > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

[Machine] That he washed and did not wake up until morning, so I met Abu Hurairah when I woke up, so I asked him. He said, "Break your fast, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command breaking the fast when a person woke up in a state of impurity." Ubaidullah said, "So I went to Abdullah and mentioned to him what Abu Hurairah had advised me. Abdullah said, "I swear by Allah, if you break your fast, I will hit you until I am satisfied. But if you think it is necessary to fast another day, then do so."
