nasai-kubra:1840 – Muḥammad b. Rāfiʿ > Yaḥyá b. Ādam > Sufyān > Ibn Abū Dhiʾb > al-Zuhrī > ʿAbbād b. Tamīm > ʿAmmih

The Prophet ﷺ went out and prayed for rain, then he prayed two rak'ahs in which he recited loudly. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1522)   

الكبرى للنسائي:١٨٤٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «خَرَجَ فَاسْتَسْقَى بِالنَّاسِ وَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ جَهَرَ فِيهِمَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ»

from his uncle who said, "The Prophet ﷺ went out to invoke Allah for rain. He faced the Qibla invoking Allah. He turned over his cloak (inside out) and then offered two rakʿat and recited the Qur'an aloud in them."  

البخاري:١٠٢٤ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ

خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَسْتَسْقِي فَتَوَجَّهَ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ يَدْعُو وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ جَهَرَ فِيهِمَا بِالْقِرَاءَةِ
