[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever goes to sleep intending to wake up and pray during the night, but his eyes overpower him until the morning, will have the intention written for him, and his sleep will be considered a charity from his Lord." Sufyan al-Thawri and Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah differed regarding this. Suwaid ibn Nasr informed us, saying, "Abdullah narrated to us from Sufyan al-Thawri from 'Abdah who said, 'I heard Suwaid ibn Ghafalah, and he informed us that Suwaid said, 'Abdullah narrated to us from Ibn 'Uyaynah from Ibn Abi Lubabah from Suwaid ibn Ghafalah from Abu Dharr and Abu al-Darda', who were both addressed directly."  

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَتَى فِرَاشَهُ وَهُوَ يَنْوِي أَنْ يَقُومَ يُصَلِّيَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَغَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنُهُ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ كُتِبَ لَهُ مَا نَوَى وَكَانَ نَوْمُهُ صَدَقَةً عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ» خَالَفَهُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ 1464 أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُوَيْدَ بْنَ غَفَلَةَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ مَوْقُوفٌ
