[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to never leave four units of prayer before Dhuhr and two units of prayer before Fajr." Abu Abdur-Rahman said: "No one has followed this hadith with its wording except for Masrooq, who opposed Muhammad bin Ja'far and the majority of the companions of Shu'bah."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٤٥٤أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ فَارِسٍ بَصْرِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «لَا يَدَعُ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَمْ يُتَابِعْهُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى قَوْلِهِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ خَالَفَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَامَّةُ أَصْحَابِ شُعْبَةَ
