[Machine] Zaid bin Thabit came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him to teach him something to recite before going to sleep. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Recite 'Say, O disbelievers' (Surah Al-Kafirun) and then go to sleep, for it is a declaration of innocence from polytheism."  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٠٥٧٠أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَى ظِئْرُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ أَنْ يُعَلِّمَهُ شَيْئًا يَقُولُهُ حِينَ يَأْخُذُ مَضْجَعَهُ قَالَ اقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} [الكافرون 1] ثُمَّ نَمْ عَلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ
