The Prophet ﷺ said, "If anyone of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is from Allah, and he should thank Allah for it and narrate it to others; but if he sees something else, i.e., a dream that he dislikes, then it is from Satan, and he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and he should not mention it to anybody, for it will not harm him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6985)

“If anyone of you sees a dream that he dislikes, let him spit dryly to his left three times and seek refuge with Allah from Satan three times, and turn over onto his other side.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3908)

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "Good dreams are from Allah and nightmares are from Shaytan. A person can interpret their own dreams. So, if any one of you sees a dream that they dislike, let them stand up and offer prayers, and disliked indulgence in sleep, and I like fetters (binding). For verily, fetters are a steadfastness in religion."
