muslim:823a – Aḥmad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Yūnus > Zuhayr > Abū Isḥāq

I saw a man asking Aswad b. Yazid who taught the Qur'an in the mosque: How do you recite the verse (fahal min muddakir) whether (the word muddakir) Is with (d) or (dh)? He (Aswad) said: It was with (d). I heard Abdullah b. Mas'ud saying that he had heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting (muddakir) with (d).  

مسلم:٨٢٣a – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلاً سَأَلَ الأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ

كَيْفَ تَقْرَأُ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ أَدَالاً أَمْ ذَالاً قَالَ بَلْ دَالاً سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مُدَّكِرٍ دَالاً

[Machine] I saw a man asking Al-Aswad ibn Yazid while he was teaching the Quran in the mosque. He said, "How do you read this letter {فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ} [Al-Qamar 15], is it adal (أَذَالٌ) or dal (دَالٌ)?" He replied, "No, it is dal (دَالٌ)." Then he said, "I heard Abdullah ibn Mas'ud saying that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting it as 'muddakirin' (مُدَّكِرٍ) [Al-Qamar 15] with a dal (دَالًا)."  

أحمد:٤٤٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ كَيْفَ تَقْرَأُ هَذَا الْحَرْفَ {فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ} [القمر 15] أَذَالٌ أَمْ دَالٌ؟ فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ دَالٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَؤُهَا {مُدَّكِرٍ} [القمر 15] دَالًا  

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ ثَانٍ يُصَرِّحْ بِصِحَّةِ مَا ذَكَرْنَاهُ

ibnhibban:6328 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Azdī > Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm al-Ḥanẓalī > Yaḥyá b. Ādam > Zuhayr > Abū Isḥāq

[Machine] I heard Abdullah bin Mas'ud say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited {Is there any that will receive admonition?} [Surah Al-Qamar, 54:17] mentioning the letter 'Dal'."  

ابن حبّان:٦٣٢٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا يَسْأَلُ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ يُعَلِّمُ النَّاسَ الْقُرْآنَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ كَيْفَ تُقْرَأُ {فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ} دَالًا أَوْ ذَالًا؟ فَقَالَ بَلْ دَالًا
