muslim:2203b[Chain 1] Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Sālim b. Nūḥ [Chain 2] Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > Abū Usāmah > al-Jurayrī > Abū al-ʿAlāʾ > ʿUthmān b. Abū al-ʿĀṣ

'Uthman b. Abu al-'As reported that he came to Allah's Apostle ﷺ and he narrated like this. In the hadith transmitted on the authority of Salam b. Nuh there is no mention of three times,  

مسلم:٢٢٠٣bحَدَّثَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمُ بْنُ نُوحٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي حَدِيثِ سَالِمِ بْنِ نُوحٍ ثَلاَثًا
