This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of 'Uthman b. Abu al-'As with a slight variation of wording.

مسلم:٢٢٠٣c – وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ

muslim:57g – Muḥammad b. Rāfiʿ > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Sufyān > al-Aʿmash > Dhakwān > Abū Hurayrah Rafaʿah

Muhammad b. Rafi', Abdur-Razzaq, Sufyan, A'mash narrated this hadith like one narrated by Shu'ba, on the authority of Abu Huraira tracing, it (right to the Holy Prophet).

مسلم:٥٧g – حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ

لاَ يَزْنِي الزَّانِي ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ

muslim:1184c – Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná > Yaḥyá / Ibn Saʿīd > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

I immediately learnt Talbiya from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he then narrated the hadith.

مسلم:١١٨٤c – وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

تَلَقَّفْتُ التَّلْبِيَةَ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمْ

muslim:157g – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > ʿAbd al-Aʿlá > Maʿmar > al-Zuhrī > Saʿīd > Abū Hurayrah

The time would draw close to the Last Hour and knowledge would decrease. The rest of the hadith is the same.

مسلم:١٥٧g – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَتَقَارَبُ الزَّمَانُ وَيَنْقُصُ الْعِلْمُ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِمَا

muslim:2941c – Naṣr b. ʿAlī al-Jahḍamī > Abū Aḥmad > Sufyān > Abū Ḥayyān > Abū Zurʿah > Tadhākarūā al-Sāʿah ʿInd Marwān > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying. The rest of the hadith is the same, but there is no mention of forenoon.

مسلم:٢٩٤١c – وَحَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ قَالَ تَذَاكَرُوا السَّاعَةَ عِنْدَ مَرْوَانَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِهِمَا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ ضُحًى

muslim:2958b – [Chain 1] Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná And Ibn Bashhār > Muḥammad b. Jaʿfar > Shuʿbah > Ibn Abū ʿAdī > Saʿīd [Chain 2] Ibn al-Muthanná > Muʿādh b. Hishām > Abū > Qatādah > Muṭarrif from his father

I went to Allah's Apostle ﷺ. The rest of the hadith is the same.

انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ هَمَّامٍ
