A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:١٣٧٨b – وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عِيسَى أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَرَّاظَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ
