The Messenger of Allah ﷺ (at times) got up in the morning in a state of junub, not because of sexual dreams (but on account of intercourse at night), and then observed fast.

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ ؓ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا أَيَصُومُ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلاَمٍ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ

“I asked Umm Salamah about a man who gets up in the morning when he is in a state of sexual impurity and wants to fast. She said: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to get up in the morning in a state of sexual impurity after having intercourse, not from a wet dream, then he would take a bath and complete his fast.’”

عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصْبِحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ يُرِيدُ الصَّوْمَ؟ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنَ الْوِقَاعِ لاَ مِنِ احْتِلاَمٍ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ وَيُتِمُّ صَوْمَهُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abd Rabbih ibn Said from Abu Bakr ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham from A'isha and Umm Salama, the wives of the Prophet ﷺ that the Prophet ﷺ used to get up in the morning junub from intercourse, not a dream, in Ramadan, and then he would fast."

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَىِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَتَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ غَيْرِ احْتِلاَمٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd ar-Rahman that A'isha and Umm Salama, the wives of the Prophet ﷺ said, "The Messengerof Allah ﷺ used to get up in the morning junub from intercourse, not a dream, and would then fast."

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَىِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَتَا إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ غَيْرِ احْتِلاَمٍ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ

[AI] Aisha and Umm Salamah, both wives of the Prophet ﷺ , said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would wake up in a state of janabah (ritual impurity) without having had any sexual dream during Ramadan, and then he would observe fasting."

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتَا «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to wake up in a state of janaabah without having sexual dreams, then he would perform ablution and continue his fasting.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ وَيَمْضِي عَلَى صَوْمَهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up in a state of junub (ritually impure due to sexual activity) without having the intention for ghusl (full ablution), so it neither invalidated his fast nor fulfilled the requirement of ghusl.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ لَا حُلْمٍ فَلَا يُفْطِرُ وَلَا يَقْضِي»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up in a state of janaba (impurity after sexual intercourse) without experiencing a wet dream, and then he would observe fasting.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا»

[AI] "Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , said, 'The Prophet ﷺ used to wake up in a state of sexual impurity without having had a wet dream, and then he would observe fasting.'"

أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنَ النِّسَاءِ مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up in a state of major impurity caused by sexual intercourse, and he would not perform ghusl (full ritual bath), nor would he break his fast or make up for it.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ لَا حُلْمٍ ثُمَّ لَا يُفْطِرُ وَلَا يَقْضِي»

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ used to wake up in a state of janaba (ritual impurity after intercourse) without having a sexual dream, and then he would observe fasting.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ ثُمَّ يُصْبِحُ صَائِمًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up in a state of impurity from sexual intercourse, not from a wet dream, then he would neither break his fast nor perform ritual purification.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ لَا مِنْ حُلْمٍ ثُمَّ لَا يُفْطِرُ وَلَا يَقْضِي
