٤٣۔ كتاب الفضائل
Anas b. Malik reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ died when he was sixty-three years old, and so was the case with Abu Bakr, and so was the case with Umar who was also sixty-three (when he died).
قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ وَعُمَرُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ
'A'isha reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ died when he had attained the age of sixty-three. And a hadith like this had been transmitted on the authority of Sa'id b. Musayyib.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ تُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلاَثٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً وَقَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Shihab through the same chain of transmitters.
عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ بِالإِسْنَادَيْنِ جَمِيعًا مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ عُقَيْلٍ
