malik:31-99Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Malik said, from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade najsh. Malik said, "Najsh is to offer a man more than the worth of his goods when you do not mean to buy them and someone else follows you in bidding."  

مالك:٣١-٩٩قَالَ مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «نَهى عَنِ النَّجْشِ» قالَ مالِكٌ: «والنَّجْشُ أنْ تُعْطِيَهُ بِسِلْعَتِهِ أكْثَرَ مِن ثَمَنِها، ولَيْسَ فِي نَفْسِكَ اشْتِراؤُها فَيَقْتَدِي بِكَ غَيْرُكَ»

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling or giving away the wala'.  

مالك:٣٨-٢١وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلاَءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ

Malik related to me from Nafi from Abu Lubaba that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade killing snakes which were in the houses.
