Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman from Abu Hurayra and Zayd ibn Thabit that they saw no harm in eating what was cast up by the sea.  

مالك:٢٥-١١وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّهُمَا كَانَا لاَ يَرَيَانِ بِمَا لَفَظَ الْبَحْرُ بَأْسًا

[Machine] Hūrayra and Zayd ibn Thābit reported that they did not consider it wrong to eat what the sea throws up.
