malik:19-15 – Ziyād > Mālik > Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl > Anas b. Mālik

Ziyad related to me from Malik from Humayd at-Tawil that 'Anas ibn Malik said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us in Ramadan and said, 'I was shown a certain night in Ramadan and then two men abused each other and it was taken away. Look for it on the ninth and the seventh and the fifth.' "  

مالك:١٩-١٥ – وَحَدَّثَنِي زِيَادٌ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أُرِيتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى تَلاَحَى رَجُلاَنِ فَرُفِعَتْ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي التَّاسِعَةِ وَالسَّابِعَةِ وَالْخَامِسَةِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us in Ramadan and said, "Indeed, I was shown this night, but two men were disputing over its exact date. So, seek it on the 9th, 7th, and 5th nights."  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٣٨٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ «إِنِّي أُرِيتُ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ حَتَّى تَلَاحَى رَجُلَانِ فَرُفِعَتْ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي التَّاسِعَةِ وَالسَّابِعَةِ وَالْخَامِسَةِ»
