5. The Book of Mosques and Places of Prayer
Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to offer the ʿAsr prayer at a time when the sun was still hot and high and if a person went to Al-ʿAwali (a place) of Medina, he would reach there when the sun was still high. Some of Al-ʿAwali of Medina were about four miles or so from the town.
We used to offer the ʿAsr prayer with the Prophet ﷺ and slaughter a camel, the meat of which would be divided in ten parts. We would eat the cooked meat before sunset.
