٣۔ كتاب الحيض

3.26 Evidence that if a person is certain that he is in a state of purity, then he doubts whether he has committed hadith (broken his wudu’), then he prays with his purity like that

٣۔٢٦ باب الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ مَنْ تَيَقَّنَ الطَّهَارَةَ ثُمَّ شَكَّ فِي الْحَدَثِ فَلَهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِطَهَارَتِهِ تِلْكَ

(204) bukhari:137ʿAlī > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > Saʿīd b. al-Musayyab > ʿAbbād b. Tamīm > ʿAmmih

My uncle asked Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a person who imagined to have passed wind during the prayer. Allah' Apostle replied: "He should not leave his prayers unless he hears sound or smells something."  

(٢٠٤) البخاري:١٣٧حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَعَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ

أَنَّهُ شَكَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ يَجِدُ الشَّىْءَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ لاَ يَنْفَتِلْ أَوْ لاَ يَنْصَرِفْ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا
