The Prophet of Allah entered a thicket and relieved himself, then Jarir brought him a small water skin from which he cleansed himself, then he wiped his hand in the dirt.  

ابن ماجة:٣٥٩حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْغَيْضَةَ فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ فَأَتَاهُ جَرِيرٌ بِإِدَاوَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَاسْتَنْجَى مِنْهَا وَمَسَحَ يَدَهُ بِالتُّرَابِ

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , entered the bathroom and fulfilled his need. Then Jarir came to him with a container of water for ablution. So he performed istinja' (cleaning of the private parts with water) and wiped his hand with dust, then he washed his face and arms, and wiped over his head and feet. So I said, "O Prophet of Allah, your feet!" He said, "Indeed, I have made them pure."
