“Abu Usaid As-Sa'idi invited the Messenger of Allah to his wedding, and the bride herself served them. She said: 'Do you know what I gave the Messenger of Allah to drink? I had soaked some dates the night before, then in the morning I strained them and gave him that water to drink.' ”  

ابن ماجة:١٩١٢حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ

دَعَا أَبُو أُسَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى عُرْسِهِ فَكَانَتْ خَادِمَهُمُ الْعَرُوسُ قَالَتْ تَدْرِي مَا سَقَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ أَنْقَعْتُ تَمَرَاتٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْتُ صَفَّيْتُهُنَّ فَأَسْقَيْتُهُنَّ إِيَّاهُ

Abu Usaid As-Sa'di invited Messenger of Allah ﷺ to his wedding party and his wife who was the bride, served them on that day. Do you know what drink she gave Messenger of Allah ﷺ? She had soaked some dates for him (in water) overnight, and when he had finished his meal she gave him that drink (of soaked dates).

Sahl bin Saʿd said, "Abu Usaid, the companion of the Prophet, got married, so he invited the Prophet ﷺ to his wedding party, and the bride herself served them. Sahl said to the People, 'Do you know what drink she served him with? She infused some dates in a pot at night and the next morning she served him with the infusion."

Abu Usaid As-Saʿidi came and invited Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the occasion of his wedding. His wife who was the bride, was serving them. Do you know what drink she prepared for Messenger of Allah ﷺ ? She had soaked some dates in water in a Tur overnight.

Sahl b. Sa'd reported that Abu Usaid al-Sa'idi invited Messenger of Allah ﷺ to his wedding feast, and his wife had been serving them on that day while yet a bride. Sahl said ' Do you know what she served as a drink to Messenger of Allah ﷺ? She steeped the dates in water during the night in a big bowl, and when he (the Holy Prophet) had eaten food she served him this drink.

[Machine] I heard Sahil saying, "Abu Usaid As-Sa'idi came and invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to his wedding. His wife was serving them that day and she was the bride. Sahil asked, 'Do you know what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drank?' He had soaked dates from the previous night in a container, as a remainder from the conversation of Abdullah bin Unais."
