"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Allah laughs at the despair of His slaves although He soon changes it.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, does the Lord laugh?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'We shall never be deprived of good by a Lord Who laughs.'"  

ابن ماجة:١٨١حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ضَحِكَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قُنُوطِ عِبَادِهِ وَقُرْبِ غِيَرِهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَ يَضْحَكُ الرَّبُّ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ لَنْ نَعْدِمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَكُ خَيْرًا

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Our Lord laughs at the despair of His servants and the closeness of others." Abu Razine said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, does the Mighty Lord laugh? Shall we not be deprived of a Lord who laughs well?'" He ﷺ said, "This is a good narration. Yes, we shall not be deprived of a Lord who laughs well."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah, the Most High, laughs at the despair of His servants and the nearness of others." Abu Razin said, "I asked, O Messenger of Allah, does the Lord laugh?" He said, "Yes." He said, "We will never be deprived of a Lord who laughs in goodness."
