It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ said the Takbir seven times and five times in the ‘Eid prayer.  

ابن ماجة:١٢٧٨حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْلَى عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَبَّرَ فِي صَلاَةِ الْعِيدِ سَبْعًا وَخَمْسًا
