ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْقُرَّاءِ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ
[Machine] "There were young men from the Ansar who were called the Qura'a. They used to stay in a certain area of the city, and their families thought they were in the mosque, while the people in the mosque thought they were with their families. They would pray at night until dawn approached, then they would gather firewood and draw water and place it at the doors of the houses of the Messenger of Allah. So he sent them all to the well of Ma'unah, where they were martyred. The Prophet ﷺ mourned their loss for several days."
