ذِكْرُ قِرَاءَةِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ {يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ}

ibnhibban:6332 – al-Ḥusayn b. ʿAbdullāh al-Qaṭṭān Bi-al-Rraqqah > Nūḥ b. Ḥabīb > ʿAbd al-Malik b. Hishām al-Dhimārī > Sufyān b. Saʿīd > Muḥammad b. al-Munkadir > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

I saw the Prophet ﷺ reading the verse; "does he think that his wealth would make him last for ever?" (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3995)   

ابن حبّان:٦٣٣٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الذِّمَارِيُّ* قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ {يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ} »

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ read, "He thinks that his wealth has made him eternal" with the pronunciation of the letter "seen" being broken.  

الحاكم:٣٠١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الْعِجْلِيُّ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَا ثنا نُوحُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الذِّمَارِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ يَحْسِبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ بِكَسْرِ السِّينِ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» عبد الملك ضعيف

[Machine] It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ recited: "{He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal}" [Al-Humazah 3].
