ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنِ السَّبَبِ الَّذِي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ يَسْتَهِلُّ الصَّبِيُّ حِينَ يُولَدُ

ibnhibban:6183 – Abū Yaʿlá > Shaybān b. Farrūkh > Abū ʿAwānah > Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

The crying of the child (starts) when the satan begins to prick him. (Using translation from Muslim 2367)  

ابن حبّان:٦١٨٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «صِيَاحُ الْمَوْلُودِ حِينَ يَقَعُ نَزْغَةٌ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ»
