ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ تَرْكِ قَطْعِ الْوَدَجِ عِنْدَ الذَّبْحِ

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade tying knots. Ikrimah said, “They used to cut a small portion of it, then leave it until it died, but they would not cut the waḍaj. He forbade that."  

ابن حبّان:٥٨٨٨أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ شَرِيطَةِ الشَّيْطَانِ» قَالَ عِكْرِمَةُ «كَانُوا يَقْطَعُونَ مِنْهَا الشَّيْءَ الْيَسِيرَ ثُمَّ يَدَعُونَهَا حَتَّى تَمُوتَ وَلَا يَقْطَعُونَ الْوَدَجَ نَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ»
