ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْبَيَانِ فِي الْكَلَامِ الَّذِي هُوَ مَحْمُودٌ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Speech is from Allah, but errors are from Satan. Verbal expression does not depend on the abundance of words, but on the clarity in conveying the truth. Silence is not a lack of words, rather those who speak foolishly about the truth."

ابن حبّان:٥٧٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ بِدِمَشْقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ الرَّمْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ السَّكَنِ* قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْبَيَانُ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَالْعِيُّ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلَيْسَ الْبَيَانُ كَثْرَةَ الْكَلَامِ وَلَكِنَّ الْبَيَانَ الْفَصْلُ فِي الْحَقِّ وَلَيْسَ الْعِيُّ قِلَّةَ الْكَلَامِ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ سَفِهَ الْحَقَّ»
