ذِكْرُ مَا يَحْكُمُ الْحَاكِمُ لِلْمُدَّعِيَيْنِ شَيْئًا مَعْلُومًا مَعَ إِثْبَاتِ الْبَيِّنَةِ لَهُمَا مَعًا عَلَى مَا يَدَّعِيَانِ

[Machine] "That two men claimed ownership of a camel, so each of them presented two witnesses. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then judged between them, dividing the camel into two halves."  

ابن حبّان:٥٠٦٨أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

«أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ ادَّعَيَا دَابَّةً فَأَقَامَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا شَاهِدَيْنِ فَقَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ»

That two men referred a dispute to the Prophet [SAW] concerning an animal, and neither of them had any evidence, so he ruled that it be shared equally between them.  

النسائي:٥٤٢٤أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى

أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ اخْتَصَمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي دَابَّةٍ لَيْسَ لِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بَيِّنَةٌ فَقَضَى بِهَا بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Qatadah through a different chain of narrators to the effect that two men laid claim camel and both of them produced witness so the prophet (peace be upon him) divided it in halves between them.

أَنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ ادَّعَيَا بَعِيرًا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَبَعَثَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا شَاهِدَيْنِ فَقَسَمَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَيْنِ
