ذِكْرُ تَرَجُّلِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ عَنْ بَغْلَتِهِ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ عِنْدَ تُوَلِّي الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَنْهُ

ibnhibban:4775Muḥammad b. al-Ḥusayn b. Mukram > ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah > Wakīʿ > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq > al-Barāʾ b. ʿĀzib

Al Bara’ said “When the Prophet ﷺ fought the polytheists in the battle of Hunain, they (the Muslims) retreated, he (the Prophet) came down from his mule and walked on foot. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2658)   

ابن حبّان:٤٧٧٥أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ مُكْرَمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا لَقِيَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ نَزَلَ عَنْ بَغْلَتِهِ فَتَرَجَّلَ»
