ذِكْرُ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْإِمَامِ أَنْ يَرْفُقَ بِنِسَاءِ رَعِيَّتِهِ، وَلَا سِيَّمَا مَنْ كَانَتْ ضَعِيفَةَ الْعَقْلِ مِنْهُنَّ

ibnhibban:4527 – Abū Yaʿlá > Ibrāhīm b. al-Ḥajjāj al-Sāmī > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Thābit > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, I have a need with you." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O mother of so-and-so, choose whichever route you desire and I will accompany you until your need is fulfilled." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ accompanied her and spoke privately to her until her need was fulfilled from the Prophet ﷺ ."  

ابن حبّان:٤٥٢٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَ فِي عَقْلِهَا شَيْءٌ فَقَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ خُذِي أَيَّ الطُّرُقِ شِئْتِ فَقُومِي فِيهِ حَتَّى أَقُومَ مَعَكِ» فَخَلَا مَعَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُنَاجِيهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

Mother of so and so, see on which side of the road you would like (to stand and talk) so that I may do the needful for you. He stood aside with her on the roadside until she got what she needed.  

مسلم:٢٣٢٦ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَ فِي عَقْلِهَا شَىْءٌ فَقَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي إِلَيْكَ حَاجَةً فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ فُلاَنٍ انْظُرِي أَىَّ السِّكَكِ شِئْتِ حَتَّى أَقْضِيَ لَكِ حَاجَتَكِ فَخَلاَ مَعَهَا فِي بَعْضِ الطُّرُقِ حَتَّى فَرَغَتْ مِنْ حَاجَتِهَا  

ahmad:14046 – ʿAffān > Ḥammād > Thābitʿan Anas

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, I have a need." So he said, "O mother of so-and-so, look at whichever path you desire." Then he stood with her and conversed with her until she fulfilled her need.  

أحمد:١٤٠٤٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَ فِي عَقْلِهَا شَيْءٌ فَقَالَتْ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي حَاجَةً؟ فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ انْظُرِي إِلَى أَيِّ الطَّرِيقِ شِئْتِ فَقَامَ مَعَهَا يُنَاجِيهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا
