ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ مُجَاهَدَةَ الْمَرْءِ فِي بِرِّ وَالِدَيْهِ هُوَ الْمُبَالَغَةُ فِي بِرِّهِمَا

ibnhibban:421 – Abū Khalīfah > Muslim b. Ibrāhīm > Shuʿbah > Yaʿlá b. ʿAṭāʾ from his father > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr > a man

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, may I seek permission from you for Jihad?" He said, "Do you have parents?" The person said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "Go and be good to them." So, he went while he was accompanying the riders.  

ابن حبّان:٤٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَتَأْذَنُ لِي فِي الْجِهَادِ قَالَ «أَلَكَ وَالِدَانِ»؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «اذْهَبْ فَبِرَّهُمَا» فَذَهَبَ وَهُوَ يتخلَّل * الرِّكَابَ
