ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ مَنْ لَمْ يُحْكِمْ صِنَاعَةَ الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهُ مُضَادُّ لِلْخَبَرِ الَّذِي تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لَهُ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A person is rewarded for all his expenditures except for spending on this dirt." Abu Hatim said, "The meaning of this statement is that a person is not rewarded when he spends on building structures, in addition to what is necessary."  

ابن حبّان:٣٢٤٣أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الضَّرِيرُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا خَبَّابًا نَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُؤْجَرُ فِي نَفَقَتِهِ كُلِّهَا إِلَّا فِي هَذَا التُّرَابِ» قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ ؓ مَعْنَى هَذَا الْخَبَرِ لَا يُؤْجَرُ إِذَا أَنْفَقَ فِي التُّرَابِ فَضْلًا عَمَّا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الْبِنَاءِ
