ذِكْرُ مَا كَانَ يَقْرَأُ ﷺ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ اللَّتَيْنِ كَانَ يَرْكَعُهُمَا بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ
[Machine] Regarding the night prayer of the Prophet (PBUH), it was reported that "When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) prayed Isha (night prayer), he would perform two extra rak'ahs (units of prayer) and then sleep. He would have his ablution and toothbrush next to his head. He would then wake up, use the toothbrush, perform ablution, pray, and perform two additional rak'ahs. Then he would stand and pray eight rak'ahs, reciting the Quran evenly among them. He would then perform the witr prayer with the ninth rak'ah and pray two rak'ahs while sitting. When the Prophet (PBUH) would shorten his recitation, he would decrease the number of rak'ahs in the eight rak'ah prayer to six. He would perform the witr prayer with the seventh rak'ah and pray two rak'ahs while sitting, reciting Surah Al-Kafirun in them and Surah Az-Zalzalah."
