ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْمُتَهَجِّدِ سُؤَالَ الْبَارِي جَلَّ وَعَلَا عِنْدَ آيِ الرَّحْمَةِ، وَيَعُوذُ بِهِ عِنْدَ آيِ الْعَذَابِ

[Machine] "I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ one night and whenever he passed by a sign of mercy, he would stop and supplicate, and whenever he passed by a sign of punishment, he would stop and seek refuge."  

ابن حبّان:٢٦٠٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ الْأَحْنَفِ عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

«صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ فَمَا مَرَّ بِآيَةِ رَحْمَةٍ إِلَّا وَقَفَ عِنْدَهَا وَسَأَلَ وَلَا مَرَّ بِآيَةِ عَذَابٍ إِلَّا وَقَفَ عِنْدَهَا وَتَعَوَّذَ»
