[Machine] I have prayed, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has forbidden us from repeating prayers on the same day.  

ابن حبّان:٢٣٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُ رَأَى ابْنَ عُمَرَ جَالِسًا بِالْبَلَاطِ وَالنَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ فَقُلْتُ مَا يُجْلِسُكَ وَالنَّاسُ يُصَلُّونَ؟ قَالَ

إِنِّي قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ «وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَانَا أَنْ نُعِيدَ صَلَاةً فِي يَوْمٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ»
