[Machine] In this nation, there are five trials. The first is a general trial, then a specific trial, followed by another general trial, and then another specific trial. Eventually, there will come a trial that is blind, deaf, and dumb, in which people become like animals.  

الحاكم:٨٣٥٠ – أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

جُعِلَتْ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ خَمْسُ فِتَنٍ فِتْنَةٌ عَامَّةٌ ثُمَّ فِتْنَةٌ خَاصَّةٌ ثُمَّ فِتْنَةٌ عَامَّةٌ ثُمَّ فِتْنَةٌ خَاصَّةٌ ثُمَّ تَأْتِي الْفِتْنَةُ الْعَمْيَاءُ الصَّمَّاءُ الْمُطْبِقَةُ الَّتِي تَصِيرُ النَّاسُ فِيهَا كَالْأَنْعَامِ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» صحيح

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: جعل الله في هذه الأمة خمس فتن: فتنة عامة، ثم فتنة خاصة، ثم فتنة عامة، ثم فتنة خاصة، ثم الفتنة السوداء المظلمة التى يصير الناس فيها كالبهائم - وفى لفظ: العمياء المطبقة وفى لفظ - وهى فتنة تموج كموج البحر يصبح الناس فيها كالبهائم".
