[Machine] My people, the Banu Al-Harith bin Ka'b, sent me to the Prophet ﷺ . When I came to him, he said to me, "Welcome! What is your name?" I said, "Kathir." He said, "Rather, you are Basheer."  

الحاكم:٧٧٢٥أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ ثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

أَوْفَدَنِي قَوْمِي بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْتُهُ قَالَ لِي «مَرْحَبًا مَا اسْمُكَ؟» قُلْتُ كَثِيرٌ قَالَ «بَلْ أَنْتَ بَشِيرٌ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح
