[Machine] Narrated by Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Qurashi from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn Qusayt, some of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ said, "I love to sacrifice a part of a lamb more than sacrificing an old goat." And they named Umm Salamah as the companion who uttered this statement.  

الحاكم:٧٥٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أَنْبَأَ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ قُسَيْطٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ

عَنْ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَأَنْ أُضَحِّيَ بِجَذَعٍ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أُضَحِّيَ بِمُسِنَّةٍ مِنَ الْمَعْزِ» رَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ وَسَمَّى الصَّحَابِيَّةَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ

[Machine] Some of the wives of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say, "I prefer to sacrifice a leg of sheep rather than sacrificing a mature goat." This was narrated by Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Yasar from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn Qusayt from Ibn Musayyib from Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet, ﷺ .
