[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The purification of every vessel is its tanning." So I said to him, "We travel with these non-Arabs who have pots in which they cook carrion and pork." He said, "If it is made of clay, then wash it and pour water in it, and if it is made of brass, then wash it, for water purifies everything."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «ذَكَاةُ كُلِّ مَسْكٍ دِبَاغُهُ» فَقُلْتُ لَهُ إِنَّا نُسَافِرُ مَعَ هَذِهِ الْأَعَاجِمِ وَمَعَهُمْ قُدُورٌ يَطْبُخُونَ فِيهَا الْمَيْتَةَ وَلَحْمَ الْخَنَازِيرِ فَقَالَ «مَا كَانَ مِنْ فَخَّارٍ فَاغْلُوا فِيهَا الْمَاءَ ثُمَّ اغْسِلُوهَا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ النُّحَاسِ فَاغْسِلُوهُ فَالْمَاءُ طَهُورٌ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ»
